Dr Johan Weber BChD (Pret) MSc

Dr Weber qualified from the University of Pretoria in 1977, after completing a masters degree in organic chemistry in 1969. He has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry and has completed courses in aesthetics by prof LeviuSteier. Dr Weber has over 45 years of experience in providing dentistry and, takes pride in making any patient feel at ease with him. Besides dentistry, he actively gets involved in the local community projects and works with some prominent charities.

Dr K S Nathan (Karla) BDS (Lond)

Dr Nathan is our principal dentist. She qualified from Kings college, London in 2001. She has been a principal dentist since January 2005. Dr Nathan has completed her certificate in Botox and dermal filler training with KT training, also completed her training in snoring and daytime sleepiness. She has interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Dr Nathan is undertaking continuing education programme periodically to continually enhance and improve her clinical skills.

Dr Sinthujan Sivarajah (Sinthu)

Dr Sivarajah qualified from Barts and The London, School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2016. After a year working in primary dental practice, his interests in dental and oral surgery developed and he further trained at Oral and Maxillofacial Departments in hospitals. He spent a year training in Queen’s Medical Centre, a major trauma centre, in Nottingham, followed by further oral surgery experience at Queen’s Hospital in London. In 2018 he completed his examinations for Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. To aid with providing dental surgical procedures for anxious and phobic patients, he obtained a postgraduate certification in Dental Sedation in 2019 from the Eastman Dental Institute (London). In addition to general dentistry, he provides treatments for more complex dental extractions and carries out dental implants. He regularly engages with dental courses and conferences to continue professional development. Patients frequently have positive feedback and often comment on his comforting nature which puts patients at ease within the practice. In his free time, Sinthu enjoys the company of his family and friends and takes a keen interest in playing football, hiking outdoors and driving.

Dr. Sheida G Nejad

Dentist

AAS, DMD, PGDip (Implantology), PhD

Dr. Nejad acquired her dental degree (DMD) in 2008 from the Medical University of Debrecen, Hungary, after completing her Associate Degree in Applied Chemistry in 2003. In 2019, she obtained her PhD in Clinical Sciences, focusing her research on diseases affecting the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ). She further advanced her expertise by completing a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Dental Implantology in 2021.

With a strong background in general family dentistry, Dr. Nejad has developed a special interest in advanced cosmetic dental treatments, including veneers, crowns, composite bonding, smile design, and teeth whitening. She also provides a variety of teeth straightening solutions, such as Invisalign, ClearCorrect, and Quick Straight Teeth (QST).

Passionate about Dental Implantology, Dr. Nejad is committed to improving her patients’ quality of life, confidence, and smiles through innovative implant treatments. Since 2013, she has also been providing facial aesthetic treatments, including non-surgical facial rejuvenation and dermal fillers.

An advocate for minimally invasive dentistry, Dr. Nejad is known for her gentle and understanding approach, particularly when caring for nervous patients. She strives to create a comfortable, relaxed, and reassuring experience, ensuring her patients feel informed, confident, and cared for throughout their dental journey.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nejad enjoys painting, diving, and spending quality time with her family.

James qualified from Newcastle University Dental School in 2020 and has since been working across the north west of England. He has recently returned to Southend to continue to deliver dental care to the area.

James enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. He is also a registered provider of Invisalign.

Outside the clinic James is a keen runner and supporter of Southend United Football Club. He also enjoys traveling and has recently returned from backpacking across South America and Antarctica.

Alina Danci

Hygienist

Alina has been a qualified dental nurse since 2015, and this year she has qualified as a Dental Hygienist.

Foundation Degree in Oral Health Science University of Essex 2023. She is a highly professional hygienist, educating patients on oral health is where her passion shines through.

Umer is registered under s36C of the Dentists Act 1984 since 2023, he has previously trained as a dentist and is now a qualified therapist and hygienist in the UK. He enjoys looking after and caring for his patients.

Abigail Richardson

Abby is a long-standing member of the team and has been a nurse with us for over 15 years. She is a part of the furniture. Patients love her calm, understanding, patient and caring approach. Outside of work Abby loves spending time with her family whether it be at a festival, on holiday or simply at home. She is also very keen on playing and watching tennis.

Lillie is our newest member of the team. Starting her apprenticeship this winter.

Even though she is new, her enthusiasm, empathy and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients makes her a wonderful member of the team. When Lillie isn't learning and working in dentistry you'll find her our with her running club.
